Celtic supporters are generally behind the idea of bringing in Shane Duffy from Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Daily Mail claim that Celtic are interested in getting a loan deal done for Duffy, as they look to bolster their defence.
Neil Lennon has reportedly gone as far as speaking to the central defender, to try and convince him to move to Parkhead.
And most Celtic fans believe that Duffy could be a good addition to their squad.
Duffy would be in competition with Christopher Jullien and Kristoffer Ajer if he was to arrive in Scotland.
Although Duffy may not be the most talented player in possession, he would surely stiffen up Celtic’s defence.
A towering presence, the Brighton man is known for his whole-hearted displays, and there would be few forwards in Scotland who would embrace the physical battle with him.
If Celtic were to sign him he would surely help to make Lennon’s side even stronger at the back, as they aim to win their 10th title in a row.
