Claudio Bravo has played down the chances of making a move to Leeds United in Al Aire Libre.

The Manchester City stopper has been linked with a move to join up with Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road following Leeds’ promotion to the Premier League.

However, even though Bravo has great respect for Bielsa, he says that the transfer could be a ‘difficult’ one to take place.

“Of course, one always has a greater apprenticeship with these managers. Difficult to happen given the chance, knowing what his job is, what his challenges are,” said Bravo.

“I don’t see myself signing in one place for four or five seasons. The possibility is very distant.”

Bravo has hardly been the most reliable of goalkeepers since his arrival in England, yet City boss Guardiola is a big fan.

“Claudio is a fantastic goalkeeper,” Guardiola said to Manchester City’s official website previously.

“He has experience and great leadership qualities and is in the prime of his life. He is a goalkeeper I have admired for a number of years and I’m really happy he is now a City player.”

Bravo is now set to become a free agent, as his contract at City is coming to an end.

With Leeds on the look out for a new stopper it would be no surprise if Bielsa’s side did consider making a move for the Chilean.

But it seems unlikely that any transfer will happen now, with Leeds potentially having to look at alternative options as they look to add competition for places in the goalkeeping department.
