Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele is a wonderful player when fully fit.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s superb 5-1 win over Stoke City last night, and provided an update on the fitness of Mousa Dembele, who has struggled with injuries this season, as quoted by popular football news website Football.London.
The 30-year-old midfield ace is one of Tottenham’s key players, but because of the heroics of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, his performances often go under the radar.
When he is absent and unavailable for selection, however, it is clear to see how much Spurs miss the Belgian, and Pochettino will be hoping to have him fit and firing on all cylinders for the remainder of the campaign.
Mousa Dembele
The Argentine addressed the media following his side’s win over Mark Hughes’ men yesterday, and opened up on the importance of Dembele to his side, as quoted by football news website Football.London:
Mousa Dembele in action
“Yes, he’s much better. He played 90 minutes against Watford and again today, and 30 minutes against Apoel. I think it’s fantastic news for the team. I think he is nearly fit and today he played very well. Now he needs to be consistent for the rest of the season.”
Next up for Tottenham in the Premier League is another home game, this time against Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday night, and nothing less than a win will do, as they look to keep pace with those above them in the table.
