Harry Redknapp praised Arsenal and Liverpool duo Kieran Tierney and Andy Robertson as ‘fantastic’ players, as he told his own podcast.
The former Premier League boss was talking to Rod Stewart about England’s forthcoming Euro 2020 clash against Scotland in the summer.
Arsenal’s thriving left-back Tierney and Liverpool’s title winner Andy Robertson are going to be key players for the Scots against Gareth Southgate’s attacking young guns.
It’s a crying shame that Wembley might not see a full house for that fixture, but Redknapp thinks those in Scotland now have ‘some good players’.
“I think Scotland have got some good players,” said Redknapp. “The two fullbacks.
“The kid at Arsenal, I like him. The boy from Celtic. Tierney and Robertson. Fantastic, isn’t he? What a left-back he is.
“Scotland have got some decent players. I think it will be a good game [against England in the Euros].”

It could be argued that Robertson and Tierney are two of the best left-backs in the Premier League.
Whilst Robertson is more proven because of his success in the Champions League and the Premier League in recent seasons, his fellow countryman is also surging up.
Both have been top-quality transfer coups for Arsenal and Liverpool, respectively and a prime example that there is serious quality in the Scottish Premiership.
