Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has been hailed by Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers on Sky Sports.
Bamford was a constant menace at the weekend, as Leeds beat Rodgers’ Leicester side 3-1.
Bamford showed real selflessness at the end of the game, when he cut the ball across to Jack Harrison rather than shooting when one-on-one.
But it was his goal which earned him praise from Rodgers.
Bamford showed all his finishing prowess, as he opened up a small amount of space, before curling the ball into the top corner with his left foot.
And the Leicester manager was very impressed with the Leeds’ striker’s display.
“I think they are a team that know exactly what they’re going to do,” he said.
“They work hard, they’re a really good team with an excellent coach.

“I thought Bamford’s goal was a fantastic goal. We should close the space quicker, but you’ve got to give him credit, it was a wonderful finish.”
Bamford now has 11 goals for the season, which puts him right among the Premier League’s top scorers this term.
The Leeds striker has surpassed all expectations and seems to be brimming with confidence right now.
Bamford and Leeds are next in action tomorrow evening, when they take on Everton at Elland Road.
