Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has told Football.London that goalkeeper Fraser Forster frustrates his teammate Son Heung-min in training.
Conte made the comments following Tottenham’s 2-1 win against Fulham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
South Korea international forward Son started the match and failed to score.
Again.
Son has given one assist in six Premier League appearances for Spurs so far this season.
Conte has said that the forward is struggling to score goals against his Tottenham teammate Forster in training.
Forster joined Spurs in the summer transfer window and is the back-up goalkeeper to Hugo Lloris.
Antonio Conte on Fraser Forster v Son Heung-min in training
Conte told Football.London: “This is not only for Sonny (in the matches), but also the training sessions.
“We have Fraser (Forster) that sometimes he made a fantastic save to him in the training session and sometimes he is struggling to score but this is a period.

“I continue to tell you I am not worried because when I see this type of performance from my players, Sonny included, I am not worried. I know they are going to score many goals with these strikers.”
Staying positive
In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur fans should stay optimistic about Son Heung-min.
Yes, Son is not firing at the moment, but he is getting into good goalscoring positions and is working hard for the team.
Goals will come for Son.
As for the forward not getting his shots past Forster, we should not forget that he is a Premier League-level goalkeeper and could play for another top-flight club on a regular basis.
Forster making saves in training and frustrating Son should not come as a surprise to anyone.
