Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has raved about Tottenham Hotspur’s squad at his press conference today, which was broadcast on the club’s official Youtube channel.
Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham and Everton are due to face off in the FA Cup tomorrow.
And Ancelotti knows that his side face a tough task to progress against Spurs, as Tottenham have so much quality in their squad.
“It will be difficult against Tottenham who have a fantastic squad, but we are prepared to fight and to play a good game,” Ancelotti said.
“Tottenham are still a fantastic team, they have everything – quality, strength in the squad, good organisation offensively and defensively and they have a good manager, so they are one of the top teams in the league.
“We know how difficult it will be. We know really well, because they have fantastic quality in their squad.
“Harry Kane, Son, Ndombele, Hojbjerg – the list is long. But the last game was good against them. I hope we can repeat the game we have against them at the beginning of the season.”

Kane and Son are two players who opposition managers have always praised in recent years.
But seeing Ndombele’s name in the list of Tottenham’s standout players, shows just how far he has progressed this term.
It is also intriguing that Ancelotti opted to mention Hojbjerg in the build up to the game.
Tottenham beat Everton to the signing of Hojbjerg last summer, and the Dane has gone on to become a key part of Mourinho’s side now.
