Willian has suggested that he will be Arsenal next season in the club’s official programme.
Willian has endured a very tough first season at the Emirates Stadium, where he has been roundly criticised.
The experienced Brazilian, who was described as ‘fantastic’ by Edu when he first arrived (club’s official website), began the campaign as an important part of Mikel Arteta’s plans.
However, despite being offered plenty of chances, he has rarely proven his worth to Arsenal’s team.
The winger has now fallen right down the pecking order with the Gunners.
But Willian seemingly has no intention of leaving the North London club in the summer.
“Well my plan is to stay at Arsenal, I have a contract here, and to win trophies,” said Willian.
“I have two more years here and my plan is to stay and be successful, to play and win something with the club.

“I still want to achieve a lot of things. I want to win more trophies, and I want to be at the next World Cup.
“I will do my best to be there. But yeah, I want to lift trophies for Arsenal – I have a lot of things in my mind that I want to achieve.
“I want to win as much as I can with the team, and go back to the national team as well.”
That news may not particularly please Arsenal supporters, as he is one of their top earners.
With Arsenal looking to reshape their squad, offloading Willian could have freed up some room in the wage bill to make additions.
However, it appears that the player himself has no desire to move on.
If Willian does stick around then he will surely have to contribute more next term to prove his worth and continue to be offered chances.
Willian has failed to score in any of his 32 appearances for Arsenal to date.
