Fans were left shocked when they found English centre-back Harry Maguire giving away World Cup stickers in New York this week.
The Manchester United centre-back was a surprise omission from Thomas Tuchel’s Three Lions squad this summer after previously being such a key asset for his country.
But Maguire has still made the trip to North America for the World Cup, and fans have now shared a video of them finding the defender working for Panini in New York.

In a video posted to TikTok, a Panini employee can be heard saying: “Yeah, they’re [the stickers] free, it’s Harry Maguire that’s in there [the stall].”
One fan in the video can then be heard commenting: “Oh my god, that’s Harry Maguire.”
The second then asked: “What is Harry Maguire doing here?” They then later say: “Bro, what is going on? There’s no way we just met Harry Maguire.”
The video also showed the Englishman getting a selfie with supporters as he stood inside the Panini stall where he was giving away the World Cup stickers.
Images of Maguire working for Panini have also been doing the rounds on social media, and a number of people have reacted to one post.
One wrote: “Harry Maguire after hearing Southgate left him out of the squad: ‘Fine, I’ll sell the stickers instead’.”
Another responded: “Bro thinks they’ll still call him if someone is injured.”
And a third commented: “It is wild to see him doing fan events in Times Square instead of being on the pitch with the squad in Texas. Missing out on the tournament selection must be incredibly tough for him, but turning up to interact with the fans over there shows he is still a class act.”
