Liverpool staged one of the most dramatic comebacks of all time last night, as they beat Barcelona 4-0 an Anfield to progress to the next round of the Champions League.
Palace full-back Van Aanholt was staggered by the drama which unfolded in front of him.
But his message on social media website has not gone down well with Palace supporters.
Liverpool were 3-0 down in the tie after the first leg, but they somehow turned things around with a remarkable performance.
Gini Wijnaldum and Divock Origi both scored braces, as Liverpool booked their place in the final.
Van Aanholt’s attention will now have to return to Palace’s game at the weekend.
The Eagles take on Bournemouth at Selhurst Park on the final day of the season.
