Aston Villa loanee Rushian Hepburn-Murphy scored his first goal out on loan at the weekend.

A number of Cambridge United and Aston Villa fans have taken to social media to respond to Rushian Hepburn-Murphy’s tweet after the striker bagged his first goal out on loan at the weekend.
Hepburn-Murphy has not made a lightning start to his spell with the League Two side. The Villans youngster went into Saturday’s clash with Grimsby looking for his first goal in his eighth appearance for the club.
But he would end his wait for that first goal in some style. After coming off the bench shortly after the hour-mark, Hepburn-Murphy doubled Cambridge’s lead in the 82nd minute when he produced a superb run from just inside the Grimsby half.
The 20-year-old drilled the ball into the bottom corner once he forced his way into the penalty box to make the three points safe.

It was actually the first senior goal of Hepburn-Murphy’s career. He has long been considered an exciting prospect, but many would have felt that it was time that he started converting his potential. So perhaps this could be a key moment in the striker’s young career.
And when Hepburn-Murphy took to Twitter after the win, he received a number of plaudits from the Cambridge and Villa fans, with a couple of the supporters from his parent club suggesting that they are looking forward to seeing him back with the Championship side next season.

Here is Hepburn-Murphy’s tweet as well as some of the responses…
