The Manchester United defender impressed for his country at the weekend.

Manchester United fans have not had many chances to see summer signing Victor Lindelof in action thus far, with the centre-back omitted from the starting line-up since his appearance in the Super Cup final last month.
However, anyone watching Sweden’s World Cup qualifier against Belarus on Sunday will have seen the 23-year-old put in a stellar performance, suggesting his confidence has not been dented despite his lack of starts since he swapped Benfica for United.

With Eric Bailly and Phil Jones suspended for the upcoming Champions League clash with FC Basel, Lindelof will start alongside Chris Smalling at the heart of United’s defence and he kept up his fitness with a 90-minute outing against Belarus.
Sweden ran out 4-0 winners, with the United defender providing some brilliant passes from the back, which is one of the key reasons Jose Mourinho will have brought him to Old Trafford.
Lindelof is a composed, quality centre-back who will in time become an integral player for both club and country.
