Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly linked with a move for Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho.
Leicester City were thought to be in the driving seat for Iheanacho’s signature as they matched Man City’s £20 million asking price for the Nigerian striker.
However, the report claims that Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur have also entered the race with Mauricio Pochettino showing interest in him.

Manchester City have been heavily linked with a move for Tottenham’s Kyle Walker, but both the clubs have hit a stalemate with Spurs asking £50 million for the England defender.
The Sun claims that Iheanacho could help push the move through, with the player joining White Hart Lane in a cash plus player swap deal.
It seems that Spurs fans are divided in opinions about the move. While there’s no doubt that Iheanacho would be a good signing, question remains why would he join a club where his first team chances are not guaranteed.
At Spurs, Harry Kane is Pochettino’s first choice striker, and Iheanacho will have to play second fiddle to him.
