Tottenham Hotspur target Vedat Muriqi impressed against England last night.

Tottenham Hotspur fans will have been watching Harry Kane in England action last night, but may have also had their eyes on another striker.
Sabah in Turkey reported earlier this week that Tottenham scouted Fenerbahce hitman Vedat Muriqi in action for Kosovo in their 2-1 win over Czech Republic, in which he scored.
Muriqi was given a major test on Tuesday night as he started up top for Kosovo against England, and he certainly showed his quality at the St Mary’s Stadium.
The 25-year-old set up Valon Berisha’s opener, and whilst he was basically given the ball by Michael Keane, he was still unselfish enough to tee up a teammate rather than go on his own.
England went and scored five times in the first half in response, before Muriqi played an outstanding no-look cross to pick out Berisha for Kosovo’s second.
Muriqi then scored from the penalty spot to make it 5-3, meaning he finished the night with a goal and two assists – fine work from the powerhouse striker.

A summer signing for Fenerbahce from Caykur Rizespor, Muriqi has a growing reputation, and he will surely have impressed Tottenham with his performance last night.
Fans took to Twitter to praise Muriqi, with a number claiming that he was much better than Spurs star Kane on the night – the striker he could be playing with if Spurs pull off a move.
Others called him ‘class’ whilst praising him for ‘ripping England to shreds’ whilst causing problems for Keane and Harry Maguire, whilst his nonchalant assist also impressed some.
