Tottenham Hotspur defender had a moment to forget for Wales.
Delays to a planned surgery operation enabled Ben Davies to play for Wales during the international fixtures BBC Sport reported.
Sadly his Wales performance did not go as planned.
Last night they lost 1-0 away to Hungary, conceding a late goal.
Davies was partly at fault, getting caught up with a teammate and producing a mis-kick, with the balling falling to Mate Patkai to score the winner.
The 26-year-old is one of the more experienced players in the Wales team, but he didn’t show it when it mattered last night.
Wales have now lost both of their latest Euro 2020 qualifiers and face an uphill struggle to make it to the finals.
Davies will now head off for his hernia surgery.
