Fans react to reported Everton target David Neres’ display for Brazil

Everton are said to be keen on David Neres, but he failed to impress last night.

Reported Everton target David Neres has been slated by Brazil fans on Twitter.

The Telegraph claim that Marco Silva wants to bring Neres to Everton for £35 million this summer, after the winger impressed with Ajax over the past campaign.

However, Everton fans may not be so keen on the potential transfer after reading the reaction to Neres’ latest display.

The speedster started for Brazil in the Copa America last night, as Tite’s side drew 0-0 with Venezuela, and was heavily criticised for his performance.

Everton’s Richarlison also started for Brazil in the contest, but was unable to find the net.

Despite Neres struggling for Brazil, he could still be an appealing addition to the squad at Goodison Park.

Richarlison has recently stated that he would like Neres to move to Everton and the winger looks to have the capabilities to threaten defences in England, even if he failed to perform for his nation.
