The Aston Villa player scored a brace for his country this week.
Australia drew 2-2 with Thailand earlier today with Aston Villa midfielder Mile Jedinak scoring both goals for the Socceroos.
Jedinak twice scored from the penalty spot to ensure his side took a point in their latest World Cup qualifying match.
The 32-year-old has featured 11 times for Villa since arriving from Crystal Palace in a somewhat surprising summer transfer, and he will be hoping his time in the second tier is brief following Steve Bruce’s arrival as manager.

There has been a swift upturn in form at Villa Park after Roberto Di Matteo’s departure and Jedinak is exactly the type of player to inspire the Villans to promotion despite the tough nature of the Championship.
This week he was focused on international matters but he now heads back to England to prepare for Villa’s clash with Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday evening, although it remains to be seen if he will feature given the miles travelled in recent days.
