The Leeds United player started in his favoured position for Macedonia this week.

Leeds United’s summer signing Ezgjan Alioski has wasted little time impressing his new fans at Elland Road, and he is also a hit for his country, with his latest assist setting Macedonia on their way to a 4-0 victory against Liechtenstein on Monday evening.
Two goals in either half ensured Macedonia ran out comfortable winners, and while qualification for next year’s World Cup was not on the cards – with Spain and Italy running away with Group G – the win did at least allow the Leeds star’s country to move to double figures with 11 points from 10 matches.

Despite being moved back into his favoured position on the right flank, the Alioski was unable to get on the score sheet himself, and Leeds fans will be hoping he takes out that frustration when the Whites take on Reading at Elland Road this weekend.
Leeds started the season in blistering form, with Alioski one of their standout performers, but recent defeats to Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday have seen the Whites drop to fifth in the championship.

That said, they are still only four points off top spot with plenty of football to be played, so anything is possible between now and May.
If Leeds are to secure promotion, you can be certain Alioski will be vital to their assault, and he looks like being a vital cog in Thomas Christiansen’s new-look side.
