England and Scotland played out a 2-2 draw this weekend but how did the Tottenham Hotspur right-back fare?

England had captain for the day Harry Kane to thank for their point against Scotland this weekend, with the Tottenham Hotspur striker finding the net in injury-time to avoid embarrassment and secure a 2-2 draw.
The three Lions took the lead through Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain but two quick-fire goals from Celtic’s Leigh Griffiths appeared to condemn Gareth Southgate’s to the ignominy of defeat, only for Spurs’ top-scorer extraordinaire to pop up with another vital effort.

Kane was not the only Tottenham player on show, with Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Kyle Walker also starting for Gareth Southgate’s men.
The latter has been generating plenty of headlines already this summer, with the Sun claiming Manchester City are closing in on a big money move for the 27-year-old, with Tottenham targeting Paris Saint-Germain’s Serge Aurier as a potential replacement.

While Walker has excelled under Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, the North London club already have the ever-reliable Kieran Trippier on their books as well as promising youngster Kyle Walker-Peters so it would not be the end of the world if the England man moved on.
Whatever happens, Pochettino will hopefully use any incoming transfer funds wisely to strengthen his squad in key areas.
