Villa goalkeeper Heaton was in fine form as he stopped two Marcus Rashford shots from the edge of the box.
Heaton has impressed since he moved to Villa, despite an error in Dean Smith’s side’s game against Bournemouth.
And Villa fans have called for Heaton to be promoted to England’s number one goalkeeper after the latest training clip.
It seems unlikely that Heaton will get game time in the upcoming qualifiers, as Jordan Pickford remains Gareth Southgate’s first choice in goal.
Pickford has been in good form this season, so his place in the team looks secure.
England come up against Bulgaria on Saturday, before taking on Kosovo on Tuesday evening.
