Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata was in action for Belgium against Scotland on Friday.

Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata was in action for Belgium on Friday evening, as the former Manchester City defender turned out against Scotland at Hampden Park in Glasgow in a friendly international on Friday evening.
Boyata – who earns £14,000 per week as salary, according to The Daily Star – started the match for Belgium and played for the entire 90 minutes.
Roberto Martinez’s side were the better side from start to finish and hammered Scotland 4-0.
The former City defender was booed by the Scotland fans, but that did not affect the performance of the 27-year-old centre-back.
Boyata’s performance drew positive reaction from the fans watching the match, as shown in the comments below:

Boyata is one of the best central defenders in the Scottish Premiership, and his recent return to the Celtic team has seen the Hoops improve at the back.
For the Glasgow giants to win the domestic treble this season and make an impact in the Scottish Premiership, the Belgian has to be on top form.
