Arsenal and neutral fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Dani Ceballos for Spain against Norway on Saturday evening.
Ceballos, who joined Arsenal on loan from Spanish and European giants Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, was in action for Spain in their Euro 2020 Group F qualifier against Norway away from home on Saturday evening.
The visiting team looked set for a narrow 1-0 victory until the final minutes when Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga brought down Omar Elabdellaoui and conceded a penalty, and Josh King made no mistake from the spot.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder started the match and played for 64 minutes, when he was replaced by former Arsenal star Santi Cazorla.
Ceballos tried to make things happen, but he did not see too much of the ball and had a largely disappointing evening.
According to WhoScored, the former Real Betis star took one shot which was not on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 88.1%, took 54 touches, made one interception, and put in three crosses.
