Everton manager Ronald Koeman revealed at the weekend that Romelu Lukaku wants to stay at Everton.
The future of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has been a talking point this summer. It has been highly rumoured that former club Chelsea were interested in re-signing the striker.
However, after months of speculation over whether or not Lukaku will be leaving Goodison Park, manager Ronald Koeman confirmed this weekend that the striker will remain at Everton, as reported by ESPN.

Everton fans and Koeman will have plenty of things to smile about. Not only has Koeman won his first game as Everton manager, the Dutchman also confirmed that leading striker Lukaku will be staying at Goodison for at least one more season, with the possibility of signing a new contract.
The Blues won 2-1 at West Brom on Saturday, having gone behind to an early Gareth McAuley goal. Kevin Mirallas equalised just before half-time. Gareth Barry’s header in the second half won the game for the Toffees.
Lukaku was Everton’s leading goal scorer last season with 18 goals. The striker is a fundamental part of the team, so the news that he is staying at the club has met with a lot of excited reaction on Twitter.
