England advanced into the semi-finals of the Under-20 World Cup with a 1-0 win over Mexico in Cheonan, setting up a clash with Italy.
The Three Lions claimed the win thanks to a goal from striker Dominic Solanke, who is heading from Chelsea to Liverpool this summer.

Paul Simpson’s men managed to hang on for the win even after Joshua Onomah was controversially sent off, with the Tottenham youngster enduring something of a difficult afternoon.
However, another Spurs talent did impress, as defender Kyle Walker-Peters flashed real ability in the Three Lions’ success in South Korea.

Walker-Peters, 20, has come up through the ranks at White Hart Lane, and whilst he has yet to make his Premier League debut, he has been tipped for a huge future under Mauricio Pochettino.
Normally a right back, Walker-Peters actually played on the left hand side of defence against Mexico this afternoon, and still managed to turn in an impressive performance.

Spurs fans took to Twitter to rave about Walker-Peters’ performance, urging Pochettino to give him first-team football next season, noting that he could end up serving as Kyle Walker’s long-term replacement.
Fans of other clubs also shared their delight with Walker-Peters’ display, praising him for his defensive play as well as his work going forward whilst tipping him for a bright career.
