The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder shone against the Republic of Ireland at the weekend.

Given his form for Tottenham Hotspur last season, it came as quite a surprise when Mousa Dembele started Belgium’s opening Euro 2016 clash against Italy on the bench.
After Marc Wilmots’ side crashed to defeat in that encounter, the midfielder was restored to the starting line-up and he excelled in a 3-0 victory against the Republic of Ireland that gave his side a great chance of qualifying for the first knock-out stage.

The Tottenham star featured for 56 minutes against Martin O’Neill’s men, recording a 100 per cent passing accuracy and a 100 per cent take-on success.
In short, Dembele has taken the form that has so endeared him to Tottenham fans this season on to the international stage, and he will surely start the vital clash against Sweden that will be make-or-break for a side tipped for great things at this tournament.
