Rangers midfielder returns to Ibrox after his loan spell comes to an end.

Adrian Fein of Germany (L) and Jamie Barjonas of Scotland fight for the ball during the Under 19 Euro Qualifier between Germany and Scotland on March 21, 2018 in Lippstadt, Germany.

Glasgow Rangers midfielder Jamie Barjonas is heading back to Ibrox.

Barjonas’ six month loan spell at Bury has come to an end and Rangers have to make a decision on his future.

Barjonas only made eight league appearances for the League Two side after struggling to impose himself on the team, with just four coming in league competition.

The 19-year-old has made nine first team appearances for Rangers in his career so far.

Barjonas sent a message on Twitter signalling the end of his loan.

Barjonas’ future will now be decided upon by Steven Gerrard.

Another loan could be an option, while Rangers may also consider assigning him to their under-20s squad under Graeme Murty.
