Leeds United forward Mallik Wilks bagged another goal out on loan, taking his tally to 14 for the season.

Several Leeds and Doncaster fans have taken to Twitter to laud Mallik Wilks after he scored his 14th goal of the campaign in the latter’s 4-1 win on Tuesday night – with some of the Whites supporters debating whether he has done enough to get a chance with Marcelo Bielsa’s side next season.
It was another good night for Wilks. His goal made the score 3-0 in just over half an hour against Bristol Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium, and it was a goal that has taken his tally to 14 in all competitions.
That number seems fairly significant as that is the same number of goals that Leeds top goalscorer Kemar Roofe has bagged this season. Although Roofe has needed fewer appearances to reach that figure, Wilks’ return is extremely impressive when you consider that he has often played out on the wing.
He has also provided five assists in the league this term.

And his latest goal has left some of the supporters feeling that he must be given a chance by Bielsa in the summer. He faces a lot of competition whether that be as a winger or a forward, but he is unquestionably giving the Leeds boss something to think about.
Some Doncaster fans hope that Wilks will stick around beyond this season, but the Leeds supporters on social media believe that he has a role to play at Elland Road next year.

Here is what some fans were saying about Wilks after his latest goal…
