Wolves goalkeeper is among three players to win the Nations League for Portugal.

Sporting were upset to lose Rui Patricio to Wolves last summer. It’s easy to see why.
The Portugal number one had an excellent first season in the Premier League with Wolves and has retained his international spot.
Last night he was in action in the UEFA Nations League final, with Wolves teammates Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho both coming off the bench.
Patricio kept a clean sheet as Portugal won 1-0, clinching their second international trophy in three years following the Euro 2016 triumph.
The Wolves’ goalkeeper’s clean sheet rarely looked troubled.

The closest Holland came to threatening was when Georginio Wijnaldum was put through one on one, and Patricio saved easily. But it would not have counted anyway as the flag was up for offside.
It took a penalty for Switzerland to score past Patricio in the semi-final and Holland had no answer for him.
Fans on Twitter were quick to praise Patricio’s performance.
Here is a look at the reaction to the Wolves star’s display…
