Arsenal, Newcastle United, Manchester United and the Reading are the Icelandic attacker’s most likely destinations after Swansea, according to supporters.
The speculation over Gylfi Sigurdsson’s future escalated on Monday, with the Guardian reporting Manchester United’s interest in him.
Only days earlier Newcastle United became the umpteenth team to be linked with him, in the Mail, so we decided to collate all the interested parties in Sigurdsson’s signature and ask where they predicted he’d land up via a poll.

All the responses in the ‘other’ sections were for Chelsea, barring one ‘joke’ entry for Runcorn.
Since Monday the speculation over Sigurdsson has died down a little, it was increased by Everton, Liverpool and Man United all reportedly scouting him last weekend. He has to be a likely candidate to score for Swansea this weekend against Wolves, and you can bet again there will be scouts in attendance.
Swansea themselves will be torn- they will want to send their fans home happy- but at the same time a Sigurdsson hat-trick would likely add a couple of million to his price tag.
How much transfer funds do Swansea have available to them? Can they afford to spend it all on one player? Surely not, with on-loan centre-back Steven Caulker likely to return to Spurs next season.
Sigurdsson is already believed to be priced in the region of £7-10 million, and the Swans will not want this to go up much more. His owners, Hoffenheim must be loving it.
The German club will be hoping for a bidding war, to get as much as possible, especially considering they spend £6 million on signing him in the first place.
Sigurdsson, 22, has shown great promise in his time at Swansea, and at Reading too, who would also love to bring him back, and there is surely no doubt that his goalscoring talents and intelligent play would be an asset to any top club.
