Wales were beaten 2-0 by Denmark on Sunday evening.

Wales lost the second game of their UEFA Nations League campaign on Sunday evening, as they were beaten 2-0 by Denmark in Aarhus.
Ryan Giggs had a dream start to his Wales managerial career in competitive action, as his side thrashed the Republic of Ireland 4-1 in Cardiff on Thursday night.
After such a stunning display, fans were hoping for another strong performance away at Denmark – but they ultimately didn’t get that.
With Denmark back at full strength having settled an internal dispute which led to fourth-tier and futsal players featuring for the national team, star man Christian Eriksen announced his return by finishing off the post having been left unmarked on the edge of the box.
A youthful Wales side attempted to get back into the game, but Eriksen got his and Denmark’s second from the penalty spot after Ethan Ampadu was harshly penalised for a handball.
There was no shame in Wales losing to a strong side like Denmark, but it was a little disappointing after the high of beating Ireland just days earlier, with some questioning Giggs for taking a more conservative approach.

One player he brought back into the side was defender James Chester, as he replaced Ashley Williams alongside youngster Chris Mepham in defence, and earned praise from fans on Twitter.
Some branded the Aston Villa ace as ‘brilliant’ and impressive alongside Mepham, noting that he is now a better option than Williams whilst one Aston Villa fan suggested that he looked ‘so comfortable’ with a recognised defender alongside him, whilst others hailed one great tackle on Martin Braithwaite.
