Jake Paul has raised concerns that his fight against Anthony Joshua might be in doubt after a concerning update from ‘The Problem Child’.
Set for December 19, the fight marks by far the most challenging test of Jake Paul’s career as he steps into the ring with former unified heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua.
The matchup has drawn controversy due to the significant gap in experience between the two. But unlike past bouts, this time it’s not Paul facing criticism for choosing an opponent perceived as less physically imposing.
And ahead of their clash in Miami, Joshua recently sent the internet sensation turned boxer a scary warning, stating that he only sees destruction as a true win.

With the fight drawing closer, anticipation continues to build among fans from both sides of the rivalry. The wait, however, might soon be over, as Paul has hinted at an update coming in just a matter of days.
He wrote on X: “9AM EST Tuesday. Major update. Had to be done. It is what it is.”
When the fight was first announced, replacing Jake’s scheduled bout with Gervonta Davis, many were sceptical about whether he’d actually follow through.
“Just tell us you’re dropping out already bro,” another said.
“Aaaaaand the fight is off, shake my head,” one fan added.
While there’s no confirmation yet that Paul’s announcement will be related to his status for the Joshua fight, his comments have certainly left room for concern.

But, even with fans hinting they saw this coming, Paul has never actually pulled out of a fight before.
Over his five-year career, there have been five cancelled fights, but every one of those was called off by his opponent.
