Fabrizio Romano says Tottenham have a ‘full agreement’ with Everton star Richarlison and a long-term deal has been agreed with the player’s agents – and talks have been scheduled ‘soon’ with Everton to sort out a transfer fee.

Richarlison, 25, is expected to leave Everton this summer with the Toffees needing to cash in on one of their big stars in order to improve their financial position. UOL reported this week that Spurs had an agreement.

They also add that Chelsea are keen on the £65million-rated Brazil international. Now, Romano delivers an update and it will certainly excite Spurs fans. Even if, Jamie O’Hara questioned the signing of Richarlison recently.

Romano says that Tottenham have a ‘full agreement’ with Richarlison, a long-term deal is on the table, and that part of the move is done. Now, Spurs have scheduled a meeting with Everton to sort out the fee, and type of payment.

Romano: Tottenham have full agreement with Richarlison

What a signing it would be for Spurs. The Everton ace has been sensational for the Toffees, since completing a move to Merseyside. Despite Everton finishing 16th, Richarlison still had 16 goal involvements in 33 games.

But O’Hara does make a solid point. Where does Richarlison fit into Tottenham’s side? Of course, he plays back-up to Harry Kane – but Richarlison would not want to warm the bench. So, does he start over Dejan Kulusevski?

O’Hara does not believe so but there is every chance he could. Naturally, on the right flank, Richarlison started there in the Premier League. His transition to play up top has come around recently. Right wing is his best bet.
