Liverpool midfielder Fabinho is reportedly on the verge of moving to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad with the two clubs close to agreeing a fee for the Brazilian midfielder.
Fabrizio Romano claims that the Saudi club and the Merseyside club are close to agreeing a fee with the deal set to be agreed upon soon.
The 30-year-old midfielder looks set to make the move to the Middle East where he will potentially line up against former teammate Roberto Firmino, who joined fellow Saudi club, Al-Ahli.

Interestingly, according to Romano, Liverpool still remain cautious about the deal due to the documents around the deal still needing to be checked before the deal can fully be agreed.
The Brazilian’s departure will open up another midfield slot for the Reds after Jordan Henderson’s move to Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq was confirmed yesterday, so the Brazilian would be the next player from Anfield who would make the move.
It now seems Jurgen Klopp’s side will turn their attention to incomings with Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia reportedly the top target. The Anfield club already have seen two offers rejected for the Belgian midfielder according to The Athletic.
However, Chelsea could enter the fray for the former Manchester City midfielder as their pursuit of Brighton’s Moises Caicedo is still yet to be completed.
What would the midfielder bring to the side?
One thing about Fabinho is clear, he is a player that is supremely talented. Despite there being times when the midfielder hits a lull in his game, he always seems to bounce back and perform even better.
He would offer the Saudi side, who have already signed N’golo Kante and Karim Benzema this summer, more of that match-winning experience that is vital to such an inexperienced side like Al-Ittihad.
The Brazilian potentially lining up alongside N’golo Kante, another iconic Premier League midfielder, surely puts the side managed by Nuno Espirito Santo, in the race for the title.
