Speaking on the Here We Go podcast, Fabrizio Romano has claimed that a number of clubs are interested in signing Giovani Lo Celso from Tottenham.
The Argentine midfielder reportedly has a number of admirers, particularly in Spain, due to his impressive spell with Real Betis before joining Tottenham.
The journalist says that there’s nothing advanced in terms of Lo Celso leaving the club, claiming that he’s very happy where he is.
“Yes because about Lo Celso, because there are a lot of important clubs interested, also from Spain, important Spanish clubs are asking about Lo Celso, they are appreciating him, he was playing well in Betis, so it is normal that someone wants to bring him back to La Liga,” Romano said.
“But the player is so happy at Tottenham right now, so there is nothing advanced for him to leave Tottenham this summer, he is really happy with Tottenham.”

This is certainly an interesting update from Romano.
Lo Celso hasn’t played much recently for Spurs due to injury, but the fact that some big clubs are interested in him shows just how talented he is.
We don’t know which clubs are interested in Lo Celso, but the fact that Romano says that they’re ‘important clubs’ indicates that they’re big teams.
It’s great to hear that he’s happy with Spurs, and after this update it would be surprising to see him leaving, even though there is interest in him.
This may be a situation to keep one eye on, but we don’t expect Lo Celso to leave imminently.
