Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, Fabrizio Romano has been discussing Tottenham’s transfer plans and Fabio Paratici’s admiration of Adama Traore.
Traore was strongly linked with a move to Spurs in the summer, and it would have been easy to chalk down the London club’s interest to Nuno Espirito Santo’s influence. After all, Traore was a key player for Nuno at Wolves.
However, Romano claims that Spurs maintain an interest in Traore, while he also states that it’s actually Paratici who is a fan of the winger.
What’s been said about Traore?
Romano shared what he knows about Spurs and Paratici’s admiration of Traore.
“Yes, talking about Tottenham, they will go for a centre-back, the priority is a centre-back, but let’s also see if they will also go for a winger. We have had a lot of rumours about Adama Traore, he is super appreciated by Fabio Paratici the Tottenham Sporting Director, but it’s not going to be easy,” Romano said.

Trust Paratici
Adama Traore has not scored or assisted yet this season, but you have to trust that Paratici knows what’s right for Spurs.
Paratici is no mug. He built a Juventus team that dominated Italy for a decade, and he’s obviously seen something in Traore.
To be honest, it’s not hard to see why the Italian is a fan of the Spaniard. Traore is an unpolished gem, he has all of the physical attributes needed to be a star, and if Antonio Conte can work with him, he could blossom into a very dangerous player.
