Arsenal are finally set to tie up a new deal for striker Folarin Balogun – and it looks like he rejected numerous offers.
Balogun’s contract has been a story bubbling under the surface all season, with fans concerned that he would simply walk away when his deal ends this summer.
The 19-year-old is yet to make a Premier League appearance, but he clearly has huge talent, and should be the future of the Arsenal attack.
After nine goals in 17 Premier League 2 games, Balogun is now set to sign a new contract with Arsenal, leaving interested clubs disappointed.
Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has now taken to Twitter to claim that Balogun has indeed signed his new contract and will be staying with Arsenal until 2025.
Intriguingly, it’s stated that Balogun received more than 15 offers from other clubs, all of them looking to pounce for the striker at the end of his contract.

Bayer Leverkusen made the biggest offer, but boss Mikel Arteta and technical director Edu managed to convince Balogun to stay put at the Emirates Stadium.
With his future seemingly settled, it’s now time for Arteta to give Balogun more opportunities, even if just from the bench in the Premier League.
After a major scare, Arsenal have kept hold of their talented young striker; it’s now time to bring him through alongside Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe as the Hale End influence grows.
