Fabrizio Romano has stated that Jesse Marsch still has the full backing of the Leeds United board despite a worrying run of form and calls from some supporters to face the sack.
Speaking to CaughtOffside, the Italian journalist revealed that the top brass at the Whites are still behind the American manager despite a winless run that dates back all the way to late August, where Leeds demolished Chelsea 3-0 at Elland Road.
As a result, some sections of the Leeds fanbase want to see Marsch the latest Premier League manager to face the sack, with five coaches already being chopped from their respective cubs. However, the Yorkshire side are not even thinking about such a decision as of yet.
With just two wins in the top-flight and Leeds stranded in 18th place, pressure is mounting greatly for Marsch, and the coming weeks will prove to be crucial in the American’s future at Elland Road, where many still feel the former RB Leipzig coach could turn things around if given time.

Indeed, injuries have been harsh on Leeds this season, and Marsch could well turn the ship around if the American manages to make the signings needed in January. And according to Romano, the former Bundesliga coach is under no pressure from the board as of yet.
Romano said on Marsch’s future: “The Leeds United board is still backing Jesse Marsch as of today, so no news on a replacement, despite some speculation about his future and replacements. Let’s see the next performance in Premier League as they are strongly supporting Marsch.”
Marsch sack concerns could soon hit Leeds board if form doesn’t pick up

Leeds are stuck in a rut few would have predicted at the start of the season after the Whites flying opening games of the new campaign. However, things have quickly turned sour for the Yorkshire giants, and for Marsch, the board could soon consider a change if results don’t pick up soon.
Liverpool this weekend at Anfield is the last place Leeds want to go to pick up a result, but with so few games remaining until the 2022 FIFA World Cup break, the Elland Road side have to go all out if they’re to save Marsch’s tenure and to escape from the dreaded relegation zone.
