Fabrizio Romano has fresh transfer news for Everton fans

Fabrizio Romano has claimed on Twitter that Everton are leading the race for Norwich City right-back Max Aarons.

The well-known and well-respected journalist, who works for The Guardian and SkySport, has claimed that Aarons will leave Norwich at the end of the season.

Everton are leading the race for the 21-year-old, who is wanted by many clubs, according to the journalist, who has added that the Toffees hope to reach an agreement soon.

Good signing for Everton?

Norwich have won promotion to the Premier League for the 2021-22 campaign, and it remains to be seen how much transfer fee the Canaries demand for Aarons.

The England Under-21 international is a very good and promising right-back who would make the Toffees better.

Seamus Coleman is not getting any younger, and Aarons would be a suitable long-term successor to the Republic of Ireland international.

According to WhoScored, Aarons has scored one goal and provided one assist in 42 Championship appearances for Norwich this season.

The youngster provided one assist in 36 Premier League appearances for Norwich last season, according to WhoScored.
