According to Fabrizio Romano, Torino striker Andrea Belotti is now off Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer wish list.

It’s claimed that Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik has been offered to Spurs in recent hours, with Tottenham desperate to add a goalscorer.

They have though taken Belotti off their list, with a move to North London now being ruled out for the Italian according to Romano.

Gianluca Di Marzio reported earlier this month that Spurs offered Torino a loan deal with the option to buy Belotti for €50million (£46million) next summer.

Torino made it clear that Belotti would not be loaned out, and they would only consider a straight sale before the October deadline.

That has seemingly done enough to scare Tottenham off, and the 26-year-old won’t be joining Spurs any time soon.

Belotti has been a goal machine for Torino, smashing 92 goals in 192 games for the club following a 2015 move from Palermo, including 22 goals last season.

The Italian was being viewed as competition for Harry Kane, but with Tottenham’s budget smaller than they would like, they can’t afford to splash out for Belotti right now – and it seems that they aren’t coming back with a new offer.
