Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is leaving his agent as he considers a January move away from the club.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has dropped another hint that he could be leaving Tottenham Hotspur in 2024 after leaving his agent.

That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Hojbjerg has now come to the end of his contract with his agent.

Hojbjerg has been linked with a Tottenham exit for months now having quickly been tabbed as a player who didn’t fit Ange Postecoglou’s plans.

The Dane hasn’t started a single Premier League game this season but has been coming off the bench to help Spurs late on.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg now without an agent amid Tottenham Hotspur exit rumours

Romano now claims that Hojbjerg no long has an agent as his contract has expired.

Pini Zahavi, an agent with strong ties to Tottenham over the years, had been representing Hojbjerg before this separation.

Ekstra Bladet in his native Denmark suggest that Hojbjerg splitting from Zahavi was likely a consequence of failing to leave Tottenham.

Romano notes that Hojbjerg is now looking for other opportunities with with a January move an ‘option’ for the midfielder.

Hojbjerg had suitors over the summer transfer window

Tottenham were no doubt hoping to sell Hojbjerg over the summer but it just didn’t happen.

The Telegraph reported in August that Manchester United were interested in Hojbjerg but ultimately ended up signing Sofyan Amrabat instead.

Erik ten Hag worked with Hojbjerg at Bayern Munich and also wanted him at Ajax before his 2020 move to Spurs.

The move to United didn’t materialise and neither did a switch to Fulham, who reportedly offered £25million for Hojbjerg on deadline day.

Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera report that Juventus would like to sign Hojbjerg in January having discussed a swap deal involving Arthur Melo over the summer.

Hojbjerg looks set to leave in 2024 and he shouldn’t be short of suitors – it will likely come down to somebody meeting Tottenham’s asking price, which won’t be cheap.
