According to Fabrizio Romano, Southampton are now expected to submit a £25m bid for Armando Broja, who is of interest to West Ham.
What’s the story?
Well, the 20-year-old Chelsea wonderkid has shone on loan at Southampton, as he announces himself in the Premier League.
According to the Daily Mail, West Ham admire Broja, although they face an uphill battle to sign the Albanian prospect.
So far this season, Broja has netted seven goals for the Saints, while also registering one assist.
Romano believes the offer will be submitted soon, and states that it will be interesting to see how Chelsea respond.
Thomas Tuchel has already addressed Broja’s fantastic form so far this season, telling reporters that the youngster is a “goalscorer” with “very unique” abilities (Daily Echo).
The German also refused to rule out the possibility of the Cobham Academy graduate staying with Southampton.

As quoted by the Daily Echo, Tuchel said: “Martin (Semmens) is in close contact with Marina (Granovskaia) and they will definitely find the right words and the right conversations.
“We will find a solution that is hopefully the best for the player and also for us. There are various options that you can talk about.”
West Ham must match Southampton bid
In our view, Broja is going to become one of the best strikers in the Premier League in a few years, and he’ll never be cheaper than he is now.
£25m is a lot for a 20-year-old, but the Chelsea prodigy is already playing at an incredible level for his age.
Should he go on to hit double figures in the Premier League this season as well as next term, that £25m sum could easily double.

In that respect, West Ham must get involved now.
David Moyes doesn’t really have many options in the centre-forward department, so a move for the Slough-born Albania international would be necessary.
With the Europa League knockout phases on the horizon and a chance to qualify for the Champions League also up for grabs, West Ham shouldn’t make life harder for themselves by not signing another striker.
