Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo is now in London waiting for Chelsea and Liverpool to make their moves.
Liverpool will ‘100%’ make a bid for Moises Caicedo and the Chelsea target is currently in London waiting for developments.
That is according to a report from Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Caicedo is in the capital tonight as the fight for his signature continues.
Romano claims that Brighton and Hove Albion are now ‘waiting’ for Liverpool to send a bid for Caicedo, which will come either tonight or on Friday.
Romano adds that Liverpool will ‘100%’ make a bid for Caicedo and the ball will then be in Chelsea’s court.
Brighton are ready to sell to the highest bidder with a real transfer fight on the cards.
Sky Sports reporter Melissa Reddy adds that Liverpool have already discussed payment structure with Brighton.
The Reds are seriously considering shattering their transfer record to sign Caicedo but it’s unclear whether he would prefer a move to Liverpool or Chelsea.
The notion of Caicedo being in London may get Chelsea fans excited but it doesn’t seem like a Blues move is absolutely imminent right now.

Romeo Lavia left waiting as Liverpool and Chelsea fight for Moises Caicedo
Spare a thought for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia.
Lavia has been the midfielder in demand of late with Liverpool having a third bid of £46million rejected for him earlier this week.
There was simply no doubt that Liverpool were focusing on Lavia but the situation has become crazy in the last 24 hours.
Chelsea suddenly made a £48million bid for Lavia, which again wasn’t good enough for Southampton as they seek £50million.

Caicedo had been Chelsea’s top target but now Liverpool are pivoting to him, seemingly believing they are better off paying up for him than continuing this haggling over Lavia.
Suddenly, Lavia has gone from being the wanted man to feeling like a consolation prize for whoever doesn’t land Caicedo.
The 19-year-old is still a huge talent but he is now left waiting to see what happens with Caicedo and his potential transfer.
