Leeds United are now expected to sign Newcastle United goalkeeper Karl Darlow with Bournemouth going in another direction.
Karl Darlow now looks likely to leave Newcastle United for Leeds United rather than Bournemouth.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Darlow is now expected to secure a move to Elland Road.
Romano reports that Bournemouth have reached an agreement to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andrei Radu.
The Romanian will arrive on loan with an option to buy and a medical with the Cherries is now imminent.
Bournemouth had been targeting a deal for Darlow, viewing him as competition for Norberto Neto.
Andoni Iraola’s men have pivoted away from Darlow though and are now set to sign Radu instead.
Romano believes this means Darlow will be joining Leeds as Daniel Farke nears a new signing.

Karl Darlow could become Leeds United number one
Darlow really needed this move.
The 32-year-old has made just 86 league appearances for Newcastle since joining from Nottingham Forest back in 2015.
Darlow did have a loan spell at Hull City in the second half of last season, impressing with the Tigers.
Hull boss Liam Rosenior would love to keep Darlow and hailed him as ‘outstanding’, but the deal is just too expensive for them.

Leeds are now able to swoop in and could give Darlow a vital role under Farke.
Illan Meslier could move on this summer but the Frenchman would probably admit that he didn’t have his best campaign last season.
Joel Robles has gone upon the expiration of his contract and it’s unclear just what role Kristoffer Klaesson will have this season.
Darlow is an experienced head who played Championship football very recently and he will hope to finally take centre stage at Elland Road after a frustrating few years at Newcastle.
