Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard is likely to be a man in demand this summer, having missed out on a January move away.
The 23-year-old has excelled for the Bhoys in recent years, and now has 83 goals in 162 games since joining from Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.
Edouard has been linked away from Celtic for some time now, but stayed with the Bhoys as they looked to make it 10 league titles in a row this term.
This season has turned into a disaster for Celtic, and it seems almost impossible that he will still be a Bhoys player next season.
Arsenal, Aston Villa and Leicester City are keen according to the Daily Mail, and Fabrizio Romano has now dropped a nugget about a failed January move.
The transfer insider has spoken to Give Me Sport, and claims that Inter Milan made a move for Edouard last summer as they wanted him as backup to £73m superstar Romelu Lukaku.
Romano claims that Inter wanted a loan with option to buy for Edouard, but Celtic wouldn’t negotiate such a deal and would only sell him, blocking the move.

With Lukaku’s future unclear, Inter are now a club to keep an eye on for Edouard again, whilst Roma also want to lure him to Italy.
“Last summer, he was close to leaving Celtic – he had really important bids, he decided to stay, but now it’s time to decide for a new club,” said Romano. “I’m told that in the last days of the last summer window, Inter were thinking of Edouard as an opportunity, as a backup option for Lukaku.”
“That was impossible because Celtic wanted a permanent deal and they were offering a loan with buy option. Also Roma are interested in him,” he added.
