Mahmoud Dahoud looks likely to make a Premier League move this summer amid links with a move to Arsenal.

Fabrizio Romano claims that Arsenal target Mahmoud Dahoud is likely to leave Borussia Dortmund for the Premier League.

Romano has taken to Twitter to suggest that Dahoud will soon make a decision on his next club.

It’s stated that teams in Serie A are trying to sign Dahoud but are now looking likely to miss out.

Romano claims that Premier League clubs have made approaches for Dahoud and a move to England looks to be in his immediate future.

Dahoud has already decided to leave Dortmund when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Dortmund beat Liverpool to the signing of Dahoud in 2017, paying £10.3million to sign him from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Dahoud hasn’t quite lived up to the hype but has still racked up 141 appearances for Dortmund, bagging five goals and 17 assists.

This season has been tricky for Dahoud though, making just nine Bundesliga appearances ahead of his exit.

Arsenal could be prime candidate for Mahmoud Dahoud deal

Arsenal appear to be right in the mix to sign Dahoud this summer as Mikel Arteta seeks more midfield depth.

Sky Germany reported in March that Arsenal had registered their interest in signing Dahoud on a free transfer.

The 27-year-old is a technically gifted midfielder who can dictate games from deep, more in the mould of Jorginho than Thomas Partey.

Dahoud has been compared to Ilkay Gundogan by the official Bundesliga website, which is very notable.

Mikel Arteta worked with Gundogan at Manchester City and may well see similar qualities in Dahoud.

Arsenal are focusing on a big deal for Declan Rice, which is likely to cost huge money in terms of fee and wages.

Going for a free agent in Dahoud would then make sense for Arsenal, adding a big signing and a potential bargain in midfield.

Other clubs are keen too but Romano’s reports may just leave Arsenal fans wondering if Dahoud could be London-bound.
