Fabrizio Romano has claimed on The Arsenal Lounge that a lot of clubs are interested in signing Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has said that he has been told that there is nothing advanced in regard to an exit for Leno from Arsenal.
Romano said about Leno on The Arsenal Lounge: “At the moment, there is nothing advanced from what I am told. A lot of clubs are enquiring, nothing advanced.”
Leno has been on the books of Arsenal since 2018.
The Gunners paid Bayer Leverkusen €22 million (£18.90 million) as transfer fee for the Germany international goalkeeper, as reported by The Guardian at the time.
The 28-year-old has been the first-choice goalkeeper for Arsenal for the past three years.
Leno has done well at the Emirates Stadium, although there have been occasions when he has made mistakes.
Especially this season.

According to The Athletic, Leno is among the players who want to leave Arsenal this summer.
Of course, Arsenal are not going to just let the German go.
The Gunners will want a decent transfer fee and will also have to sign a suitable replacement.
If Leno does not want to stay at Arsenal, then the North London outfit are better off selling him and buying a new goalkeeper.
The problem is that Arsenal would have to pay quite a bit to get in a quality goalkeeper.
It is still very early in the summer, and perhaps Arsenal will get concrete bids from clubs for Leno in the coming weeks.
