According to Fabrizio Romano, Gareth Bale will leave Real Madrid in June as a free agent, amid reports Tottenham are keen to re-sign him.

Well, it was Super Deporte who revealed that Spurs are interested in bringing the £528,000-a-week man back to the Premier League.
Now, they could do so without spending a penny on a transfer fee.
Romano believe Bale is set to decide his next destination in May, ahead of a free transfer away from the Santiago Bernabeu in June.

So far this season, the Wales international has struggled for game time under Carlo Ancelotti.
Bale – who Real Madrid paid £85.3m for – has made just four appearances in La Liga, while also playing just three minutes of Champions League action.

In our view, Antonio Conte should hand Bale a one-year contract when he becomes a free agent this summer.
Admittedly, his £528,000-a-week wages will have to be lowered, but if the Welshman agrees to a pay cut, then it’s a no brainer for Spurs.
The 32-year-old proved how clinical he is nowadays during his season-long loan spell at Tottenham last term, scoring 16 goals in 34 appearances.
Even behind the scenes, Bale seemed to be a great character and a big boost for squad morale.
Furthermore, as he used to be a left-back, he could actually slot in seamlessly as a left wing-back in Conte’s system, while also offering an option at centre-forward.
To put it simply, Spurs would be mad not to give Bale at least one year to show he still has it – keep an eye on this saga, with a decision set to be made in May.
