Sheffield Wednesday won 2-1 against Preston North End in their latest outing.
Fabrice Muamba has praised Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Sam Hutchinson of social media website Twitter.
Wednesday posted a video of Hutchinson lunging into three tackles during their 2-1 victory over Preston North End at the weekend.
And Muamba was very impressed by the 27-year-old’s commitment to the cause, as he helped the Owls pick up the three points.
Wednesday took the lead against Preston when Fernando Forestieri found the back of the net, and they doubled their advantage through Steven Fletcher.
Although Preston did pull one back, Wednesday held on to claim the three points and move into the play off places.
Hutchinson played a starring role in the encounter, with the former Chelsea man protecting his defence well.
Hutchinson has arguably been Wednesday’s most consistent performer so far this season, and he looks set to continue playing a key role for Carlos Carvalhal’s side.
Wednesday are next in action against Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday.
