Fabrice Muamba has echoed the thoughts of Robert Griffin III after Damar Hamlin collapsed during an NFL clash between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals.
Like Hamlin, Muamba famously collapsed due to cardiac arrest during an FA Cup clash between Bolton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur back in March 2012, with his heart failing to beat for 78 minutes.
As things stand, Hamlin is currently in a critical condition after also suffering a cardiac arrest, following a collision with Cincinnati Bengals receiver Tee Higgins.
Muamba has now taken to Twitter to show his support for the American.

Well, the 34-year-old didn’t actually post a tweet of his own, but instead chose to retweet Robert Griffin III’s touching tribute to Hamlin.
The 32-year-old, nicknamed RG3, asked his 2.1m Twitter followers not to share footage of Hamlin collapsing against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Instead, the quarterback asked people to share a photo of the Buffalo Bills team gathering round in unity as they pray for Hamlin to make a full recovery.

Muamba thankfully made a full recovery, although he was forced to retire from professional football.
At the time of writing, Hamlin has a heartbeat and remains in intensive care, although it is highly unlikely that he will be allowed to return to NFL action should he regain consciousness.
Of course, his playing career comes second at this delicate point in time.
