Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter in bedazzlement after seeing a silky turn from promising prospect Miguel Azeez last night.
The 18-year-old made his debut for the Gunners in yesterday’s 4-2 win over Dundalk in the Europa League, playing the final seven minutes of the match.
While that doesn’t seem like a great deal of time, it was enough for the teenager to pull off a lovely piece of skill.
With two Dundalk players closing him down, Azeez scanned the space around him before taking them both one way.
He then feints his body, leaving the duo chasing thin air, as he plays the ball forward and gets an attack going.

It was great to see a debutant act so bravely on the European stage.
Admittedly, it would’ve been easy for the Hale End graduate to play it safe and just go backwards, but his impressive turn showed that he’s a forward-thinking player.
It was a piece of smart play that some fans below have likened to something ex-Gunners maestro Cesc Fàbregas would’ve done.

Another supporter described Azeez as Arsenal’s answer to Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish, which in itself is lofty praise.
Let’s see what some other fans have been saying about the wonderful bit of play…
